2013 GGT Footing Grand Prix Series

Are you competing at the 1.40m Level?

(La Canada-Flintridge, CA) – The Flintridge Spring Classic, April 18 – 21 and the 92nd Annual Flintridge Horse Show, April 25 – 28, will kick off West Palm Events Management 2013 show season with a fantastic year-long competition. Both shows offer the opportunity to earn points towards the $260,000 GGT Grand Prix Series. The events are as follows:

Flintridge Spring Classic
$25,000 Grand Prix
Friday, April 19th

92nd Annual Flintridge Horse Show
$25,000 Land Rover Grand Prix of Pasadena
Saturday, April 27th

The GGT Footing Grand Prix Series is designed to provide an opportunity for riders to compete at the 1.40m level for year-end awards and prizes. Riders may enter as many horses as they wish, but will only receive credit towards year-end awards on the first horse they ride in each class. Horses must be declared before 5 p.m. the day preceding the class.

Year-end awards are based on prize money won throughout the current year’s GGT Footing Grand Prix Series. Money won in the GGT Footing Grand Prix Series Final at the Del Mar International Horse Show will be doubled for pointing, toward the rider’s year-end total.

AWARDS
1. $7,000 cash & $12,000 in credit to the 2014 season
2. $5,000 cash & $7,000 in credit to the 2014 season
3. $1,000 cash & $3,000 in credit to the 2014 season

* Show credit can be used at any of the nine (9) participating GGT events
* A maximum of $1,500 may be used at any one event and can be applied to stalls, entries, VIP and advertising at any show where the recipient is actively participating (min 3 classes). This credit is not transferable and can only be used on personal horses or horses where the recipient is the trainer and must be listed as such. This show credit is intended for use on horses that the recipient is showing and not to pay for client horses. The credit may only be used in the 2014 season at participating shows
* All rules interpreted by management and all decisions are final
