Flintridge Spring Classic hosts the WCHR West Coast Hunter Spectacular

Hope Glynn on Woodstock Emerge Victorious

(La Canada-Flintridge, CA) – The new and prestigious West Coast Hunter Spectacular showcased the very best of the show hunters as they took the center stage in a two-round Hunter Spectacular in the Jimmy Williams Oval at the historic Flintridge Riding Club.

Horse and rider combinations competed over the Mike Galloway course. The top 12 were invited to complete in the second round and Hope Glynn on Woodstock emerged victorious to claim the lions share of the $30,000 prize money.

Jenny Karazissis was the leader in the first round on Back in the Game, she rode last in the second round and knocked down a rail, finishing 10th. One junior, Mikayla Stuart on Verdana, made it to the finals with all the pros.

The West Coast Spectacular will no doubt become a distinctive part of the Member Event Series for the WCHR program as professionals, junior and amateur riders vie for the coveted title of Champion and a share of the guaranteed $30,000 in prize money.

The 92nd Annual Flintridge Horse Show April 25 – 28 will follow the Flintridge Spring Classic.
