GGT-Footing Grand Prix Series Returns in 2016 and Expands to 14 Grand Prix Events

West Palms Events is pleased to announce that our hugely popular GGT-FootingGrand Prix Series is returning for 2016. This season, we have expanded our GGT Series to feature 14 Grand Prix events including our newest venue, the LA Equestrian Center. We would like to thank our wonderful sponsor, GGT-Footingon their continued support in the 2016 show season!
This challenging series gives riders a chance to compete head to head for year-end credit to West Palms Events’ shows for the following season! The series  rewards competitors for consistently competing successfully in the series throughout the year. The points for the series are accumulated throughout the year and are kept up to date on the GGT-Footing Grand Prix Series page, allowing riders to keep track of their rankings against their competition after each show.

*Counts toward the following year’s points
Points:
Points will be awarded to all finishing combinations, with first place receiving the Number of Competitors +2. For Example, if there are 25 horses in the class and you place first, you will receive 27 points for that class. Year-end awards are based on the top placing for the rider in the fourteen (14) GGT events. Points won at the GGT Final at the Del Mar International will count double.
Awards:
First Place – $7,500 in show credit, which can be used at any of the 14 participating GGT-Grand Prix Series shows in the 2017-2018 show season.
** All rules interpreted by management and all decisions are final
