Huntington Beach Surf and Summer Classics Part of an Incredible Season

West Palms Events had a spectacular show series at Huntington Beach, home of the Surf and Summer Classics. This summer saw fantastic participation and attendance, with competitors and spectators enjoying the special events, great classes and beautiful ocean breezes.
The Huntington Beach shows take place at the Huntington Central Park Equestrian Center, located within Huntington Central Park. This exceptional equestrian facility lies in the heart of one of Southern California’s most gorgeous beach settings. Shopping, seaside attractions, fine dining, and resort accommodations are all within a short distance of the Huntington Beach show grounds.

The Horse Nation Foundation’s Grand Prix Dinner-Dance fundraiser was extremely successful. The sold-out event’s proceeds went to the non-profit program that pairs rescued horses with young people who are working on life-enriching lessons including gang and bullying avoidance, effective communication and building strong morals and values.

In the $25,000 S & S Bank Card Systems Grand Prix of Huntington Beach, Peter Petschenig jumped into first place on his own mount Saint Quentin, while Stefanie Saperstein again took second this week on Cender Van’t Zorgvliet.
The $2,500 Grand Prix Hunter Derby was won by Michael Leon and Celano, with Jenny Karazissis and Proenza riding into second place.
“The two weeks at Huntington Beach were fantastic this year, and I want to thank the Huntington Central Park Equestrian Center for being so wonderful to work with,” said Dale Harvey of West Palms Events. “It is such a pleasure to present a horse show in this setting, and I can definitely say that attendees thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful amenities as well as the proximity to the ocean, excellent restaurants and other attractions.”
