LA Equestrian Festival Kicks Off

It was a beautiful, warm day at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center to begin the inaugural LA Equestrian Festival. The Large Oval and EquiDome saw some great competition on the first day of the event to start off not only our first event of the year, but our first event at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center. Check out the results by clicking here! We would like to thank everyone who chose to come and support the show in its inaugural year and the facility’s management for working with us to improve the venue!

“It is very important to us that everyone has a great time competing here this week,” said Adrienne Karazissis of West Palms Events. “We are working very hard to put on an event that will draw more competitors year after year. Thank you to all who came out this week for the LA Equestrian Festival!”
In addition to West Palms’ hard work, our incredible sponsor, LA Saddlery, is extremely supportive of the event and improvement of the facility and events that are hosted at the venue.

“LA Saddlery is fully committed to helping the West Palms Team breathe new life back into the Los Angeles Equestrian Center.  We are excited to offer $5,000 worth of LA Saddlery Gift Certificates to the top 8 riders in this Saturday’s S & S Bank Card Systems Los Angeles Grand Prix in support of their participation at this breakout show,” says Renee Spurge, Owner of LA Saddlery. “As one of the original boarders, dressage competitors, former employees of both the rental stables and Dominion Saddlery, and now Owner of LA Saddlery, I have literally grown up at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center.  It truly saddens me that the excitement that used to surround the facility is gone. This is why I jumped in joy when I found out last year that West Palms was going to bring some shows to the LAEC, with the hopes of rebuilding the equestrian oasis for the Los Angeles horse community. While there will be obstacles along the way, I have complete faith that the hard working team of West Palms will do their very best to make this show as successful as the others on their calendar. I look forward to seeing you all this weekend!”
