There Are Lots More Exciting Classes to Come - Don't Miss Any of the Action at the Murieta Equestrian Complex!

Sacramento, CA – Tuesday marked the start of the Sacramento International Horse Show, overseen jointly by horse show managers Rudy Leone and Dale Harvey. This show features a stellar line-up of classes for hunter, jumper and equitation riders at every level. According to Dale Harvey,”This show has grown into a much-anticipated annual event in the Sacramento area. As we enter our sixth year at the Sacramento International, our goal is to continuously improve the experience for competitors and spectators alike.”

 
Hope Glynn Starts Welcome Week Off Right – Four Impressive Wins in the Hunters
Gorgeous fall weather in Northern California provided a perfect setting for the start of the Sacramento International Horse Show. Hope Glynn took home the blue in the 1st Years aboard Crusader, scored a win in the High Performance Hunters with Constantin, and piloted Woodstock to two more blues in the 3.6 Performance Hunters. Qindar, with Cara Anthony up, also won in the 1st Years, and Maillisko, with Marissa Metzger in the irons, took home a first in the High Performance Hunters. Join us for many more classes, championships and special events during Welcome Week, September 24 -29, and International Week, October 1 – 6.

Special Classes Coming Up During Sacramento International Welcome Week Include:

$25,000 Welcome Grand Prix (1.40m)
This is a GGT Footing Grand Prix Series event. Scored under Table II(a).
Ribbons and prizes to twelfth place.

$15,000 Stoneridge Team Championship (1.20M)
Both the individual and team competitions will take place over three days. Prize money, coolers and trophies are awarded to winning team and winning individual.

$10,000 USHJA Child/Adult Jumper Regional Championship (1.10M)
Championship to feature 4 Regions, composed of the 12 USHJA Zones. Prize money, coolers and trophies are awarded to winning team and winning individual.

Sacramento International Horse Show/NorCal Equitation Championship
This is a three-phase competition that features a Hunter phase, Jumper phase and Third Phase in which the top four riders return to compete over a shortened course.
