The Flintridge Spring Classic Horse Show Hosts World Champion Hunter Rider Member Series Event

High Profile Event Honors top Hunter Riders

(La Canada Flintridge, CA) The USHJA World Championship Hunter Rider (WCHR) Member Series Event is coming to the Flintridge Riding Club this spring. The event takes place during the Flintridge Spring Classic Horse Show April 18-21, 2013 in La Canada, Flintridge, CA. Riders will compete throughout the year at WCHR Events in order to earn the highest possible points. Points from a rider’s top four WCHR Member Series Events will be used to determine national and regional standings. The top ten nationally and top six regionally ranked riders will get the opportunity to compete in the WCHR Finals in Upper Marlboro, MD.

The Series includes year-end awards for Professionals, Developing Professionals, Amateur Owners, Adult Amateurs, Juniors, Children and Pony Riders. In order to be eligible for WCHR National and Regional Awards, riders and owners must be current WCHR members. Visit USHJA.org for membership details. Only WCHR membership applications that are completed online will be accepted and valid for the 2013 WCHR competition.

The Flintridge Spring Classic Horse Show is managed by West Palms Event Management, and is one out of seven shows in the Southwest region to be selected to host a WCHR Member Series Event.
