The Huntington Beach Surf Classic to host the South Shore Farm’s Hunter Derby

A qualifying class for the $25,000 Grand Prix Hunter Derby Final

(Huntington Beach, CA) – The Huntington Beach Surf Classic, July 4-7, 2013, will be hosting the $2,500 South Shore Farm’s Grand Prix Hunter Derby on Friday, July 5, 2013. The GPHD is open to all horses and riders and is a qualifying class for the $25,000 Grand Prix Hunter Derby Final which takes place at the Del Mar International Horse Show, October 16-27, 2013.

This class will feature a Rider Pool: $50 per entry fee of each qualifying class and the GPHD Final will be added together. The top four riders in the series will share the total pool at the GPHD Final. Shares of the rider pool will be allocated based on the following breakdown: 1st-50%; 2nd-25%; 3rd-15%; and 4th-10%.
