Zoey Pacyna and Enzo Ferrari Tackle the Grass at the Central California Memorial Day Classic

The Central California Memorial Day Classic was a blast! Thanks to the Michael Nyuis scholarship I was able to head up North to Paso Robles Horse Park to compete. This was the first horseshow of the year; we were able to compete on the big open grass fields. It was a great learning experience to ride the incredible young sales horse, Enzo Ferrari, (Owned by Bruno Diniz Das Neves) on the grass for the first time. We competed in the seven year old classes, each day got better with us figuring out the grass field.

Riding such a young horse on the grass for the first time can be quite intimidating, but Enzo really stepped up and I could not have been more thrilled with him. He’s a very special horse and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for him. West Palms Management did such an excellent job making sure everything ran smoothly and the grass fields were maintained with the upmost care. It was such a fun Horseshow to attend, from the Saturday night Grand Prix, which I was able to cheer on members from my barn, to competing on the big beautiful grass field. I think Paso Robles might be my new favorite place to compete! Next we head to Huntington Beach to compete. I am so thankful for this opportunity to compete at such amazing venues and further my career as a young professional. If it wasn’t for the Michael Nyuis scholarship none of this would be possible.
